Jamestown (JPD) Jamestown Police Department officers will be wearing pink patches on their during October to show support and raise money for breast cancer care locally.
Officer Kayla Volin, the JPD has partnered with the James-Valley Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4 to help raise funds and awareness of breast cancer., saying,
The police department states, “All our patrol officers will be wearing pink-colored department patches and will be displaying pink ribbons on all their squad cars. They will also be selling these breast cancer awareness department patches to anyone wishing to donate for a cost of $10 with the proceeds being donated to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center Foundation (Women’s Health Fund—breast cancer).
They can be purchased at the Jamestown Police Department main office window at the LEC during regular business hours.
