(UJ) Wide receiver Javon Bowie-Monteiro, University of Jamestown, has been named this week’s GPAC Offensive Player of the Week. It was announced Monday by the conference office.

Bowie-Monteiro tied a single-game Jimmie record with three touchdown catches in UJ’s 41-17 win over Doane (Neb.) on Saturday, He finished the game with five catches for 142 yards and his touchdowns covered 13, 62, and 25 yards.

Jamestown (3-3 overall, 2-3 GPAC) travels to Concordia (Neb.) University Saturday.
