Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Public School Board, at Monday’s meeting heard from Superintendent Dr. Rob Lech discussing doing better with staff exit interviews.
He said that in discussions with Sally Ost, they determined they could do a better job collecting and analyzing exit interview data from certified and non-certified staff.
The policy would apply to all employees including those taking early retirement and voluntary severance. Dr. Lech added that feedback could be gathered through written and/or face-to-face meetings.
“A formative analysis would be shared with the administrative team in the winter of each year and a summative assessment would be presented for board education to the Jamestown School Board in the spring,” Dr. Lech added. “The information will be analyzed regularly by administration to identify areas or determine trends that may need to addressed. The Superintendent or designee shall share their analysis and recommendations with the Board at least annually.”
Analysis would be shared with school administrators and the school board.
The Jamestown Public School Board approved a first reading of the policy.
Jamestown High School Principal Adam Gehlhar provided an update on Choice Ready and several staff were recognized for 10 years and 25 years of service to the district.
