The University of Jamestown women’s cross country team hosted the Jimmie Invite at Parkhurst Friday afternoon.
Four runners competed for UJ, led by Keely Arnston (FR/Maddock, N.D.), who placed 37th with a time of 20 minutes, 47 seconds. Paige Erbstoesser (SO/West Fargo, N.D.) was 51st in a time of 21:31.6, Jennifer Tallackson (SO/Wheatland, N.D.) was 65th in 24:01.6, and Jordynn Toliver (JR/Box Elder, S.D.) was 67th in 24:28.2.
Alyssa Becker from the University of Mary was the top finisher in a time of 17:35.2.
Next up for the Jimmies is the Mystics/Marauders Invitational in Bismarck, N.D. on October 21 at 3 p.m.
Men
The University of Jamestown men’s cross country team hosted the Jimmie Invite Friday afternoon at Parkhurst.
UJ finished seventh of eight teams with 209 points. The University of Mary was first with 33 points, followed by Minot State (43) and Minnesota State-Moorhead (83).
Micah Hoke (SO/Jamestown, N.D.) was the top finisher for the Jimmies, placing 37th with a time of 28 minutes, 39.6 seconds. Landon Thompson (FR/Sunburg, Minn.) was 40th in 29:00.7, Drew Hjelmstad (SO/Maple Grove, Minn.) was 42nd in 29:19.5, David Martin (SR/Wasco, Calif.) 43rd in 29:32.3, Corbin Cornelius (SO/Wahpeton, N.D.) 47th in 30:15.4, and Amaru Comby (FR/Philadelphia, Miss.) 49th in 31:57.4.
Jackson Harrison of Northern State University took first in a time of 24:51.9.
Next up for Jamestown is the Mystics/Marauders Invitational in Bismarck, N.D. on October 21 at 4 p.m.
