Jamestown (CSi) An unverified threat prompted response from local agencies to the Jamestown High School just before 11 AM Thursday, October 13, 2022.
Jamestown Public School Superintendent Dr. Robert Lech reports law enforcement was notified by phone of a “potential threat” at the school, law enforcement was notified at about 10:40 a.m. Thursday.forcing the campus into immediate lockdown.
Dr. Lech stated., “While the potential threat was not verified by law enforcement and there is no immediate threat, a systemic sweep is being conducted to ensure the safety and security of all students and staff. After consultation with law enforcement and out of an abundance of caution, all schools have currently been placed on lockdown.”
Fargo Police confirmed a threat at Fargo Davies high school. They said they checked video footage at the school and did not find any evidence of a shooter.
Schools in Jamestown, Grand Forks, and Bismarck in ND and Sioux Falls, SD also received the calls.
