Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown’s Festival of Trees event kicks off with open house viewings from 5 to 7 p.m. November 28-30 at the Bunker. These will be freewill offering viewings for the public.
Hosted by the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Foundation, the Festival of Trees is a public display of up to 30 fully decorated 4-foot to 7-foot holiday trees
Organizations or businesses in the community that sponsor a tree can decorate at the Bunker at 1530 3rd Street Southeast between November 21-23.
Each tree will be part of an online silent auction from November 28-to December 2 to raise funds for the Parks and Recreation Foundation.
.The Social Event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Fri Dec 2 at the Bunker in Jamestown.
Beverages and appetizers will be served along with the silent auction closing at 6:30 p.m. Individual tickets for the social are available for $20 per person or a table of six can be purchased for $120 at the Parks and Recreation Office located at 1002 2nd Avenue Southeast, in Jamestown. This event is for individuals over 21 years of age.
The Bunker is located at 1530 3rd St. SE.
Current areas of focus for the foundation include a scholarship program, Sensory Garden, Jack Brown Stadium Renovation, Two Rivers Activity Center Endowment Fund and the McElroy Park Field Renovations.
