Jamestown (CSi) – The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corp. (JSDC) Board of Directors has unanimously approved reallocating $500,000 from JSDC’s $1 million incentive package for the Green Bison Soy Processing project.

The action will help purchase rail switches for the planned rail loop in the Spiritwood Energy Park Association’s (SEPA) industrial park at Spiritwood.

Approval is not required by the Jamestown City Council or Stutsman County Commission as the funds were previously approved as an incentive for the Green Bison Soy Processing project.

Access to the previously approved incentive dollars is contingent upon a key-terms agreement being executed between SEPA, Green Bison Soy Processing and ADM. The key-terms agreement has been signed by all parties.

It could take six to eight months to get the switches delivered.
