Valley City (CSi) An October 22 drug bust in Valley City has led to two men facing felony Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance charges

Valley City Police Chief Phil Hatcher said officers checked on a vehicle that was running idle for an extended period of time outside of Snoeyenbos Hall on October 22nd around 2:40am.

During a welfare check, the police officer could smell burnt marijuana. An investigation began, following the investigation two men, 19-year-old Jacob Beckman of Fargo, ND and 19-year-old Dylan Gillpatrick of Independence, MO were arrested.

A preliminary hearing for Beckman is set for November 29th at 11am and a hearing for Gillpatrick is set for December 6th at 11am before Southeast Judicial District Judge Jay Schmitz in the Barnes County Courthouse.
