Alvin loved his music and was an excellent musician, playing guitar every day. He spent 4 years in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. After he was honorably discharged, Alvin worked construction and drove truck for Ready Mix until his retirement in the early 1990’s. Alvin was a great man – he had a kind heart. He would make conversation with anyone and was loved, respected and will be missed by so many. Alvin has so many friends and family that are in heaven to greet him, and the family is sure he is playing guitar with his best friend, Don Miller & the Band is all together again.
Alvin is survived by his wife, Thelma Guthmiller, who has been with Alvin for several years, enjoying the Golden Years together.
