SIOUX CITY, Iowa (UJ) — Tommy Beringer (JR/Murrieta, Calif.) and Jake Rau (SO/Stetsonville, Wis.) had the two victories for the University of Jamestown men’s wrestling team Friday afternoon in a 43-10 loss at No. 13 Morningside University.

Beringer won by 14-0 major decision against Brock Bolling at 149 pounds, and Rau pinned Sendeska Kalskett in 1:20 at 197 pounds.

The Mustangs recorded pins in three of the other six contested matches. Jamestown was open at both 125 and 165 pounds.

The Jimmies will be back in action at the Itasca Duals in Grand Rapids, Minn., on January 7.
