Sioux City, Iowa (jimmiepride.com) Mason Walters (SR/Jamestown, ND) has been named this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball player of the week.

Walters had a pair of games in which he scored 30 or more points for the sixth-ranked Jimmies. In a win over Valley City State, he had 34 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He followed that up with a 36-point performance in a victory over Mount Marty where he also grabbed 13 boards. For the week he shot 70.3 percent from the field and also blocked three shots and had three steals.

Jamestown (10-2, 4-2 GPAC) hosts Presentation on Sunday.
