Jamestown (City) A news release from the City of Jamestown updates residents that, all residential routes should have been bladed at least once now.

Jamestown city crews planned to return to the downtown business district Sunday, December 18, and will tentatively return to the residential areas Monday, December 19, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m. and continue until finished.
Plows will continued to keep Snow Emergency Routes open throughout the weekend due to continual blowing and drifting snow.
All vehicles should be removed from the streets, avenues, and alleyways for efficient clearing of snow during these times.

The above schedule is contingent upon changing weather conditions, snow
accumulation totals, and blowing and drifting snow

City Ordinance Section 25-10 requires that a property owner keep the sidewalk
adjoining the property clear of snow and ice. Do not deposit snow or ice on the city
street after the city plow has cleared the street. These violations are class B
misdemeanors under the general penalty and will result in a fine.
