TechSavvy & STEMtastic 2023 is happening March 6 return to Jamestown at the Reiland Fine Arts Center on the University of Jamestown campus. Over 350 area middle school students will explore STEM careers with hands-on learning.

Joan Enderle. The Stem Tastic mirrors this program but focuses on developing an interest in STEM careers for boys. Both events were held at the University of Jamestown campus on March 6, 2023, with youths from grades 7 and 8 attending.
After the opening the sessions the students will walk outside to the assigned buildings for the hands-on workshops held between 10 am – 2 pm. With the boys and girl’s final session in the Reiland Arts Center Auditorium.
The Closing Session will features guest speaker – Lieutenant Commander Amy “Bacon” Heflin. Lieutenant Commander Amy Heflin is a native of Lubbock, Texas and graduated from Lubbock High School in 2007. She attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering in 2011, and was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy.
