Jamestown, ND – Emily Bivens, Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, recently accepted a position on the Mid-America Chamber Executives Board of Directors.

MACE for short, is made up of chamber professionals in the six-state area of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. MACE is the go-to organization for chamber news, resources and networking in the Upper Midwest and is served by a board of directors.

The Board of Directors represent each of the six states in MACE and includes a representative from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a representative from the conference host city’s local chamber, and staff from the Chamber of Commerce Executives of each state.

“I’m excited to join an extremely talented and dedicated group,” Bivens stated. “Being a part of the Board of Directors will afford me the ability to hone my own skills in leading the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce while also working alongside some of the very best Chamber executives in the six states MACE includes.”

The Board of Directors are nominated by members of MACE for a two-year term.

Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce staff will also be attending the 2023 MACE Annual Conference May 3-5 in Sioux Falls, SD. The annual conference brings together Chamber professionals from across the Midwest for continuing education.
