BISMARCK – Sen. John Hoeven a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded more than $11 million to the following North Dakota airports for projects including runway, taxiway, terminal and lighting improvements, as well as upgrades to snow removal equipment and facilities:
- Jamestown Regional Airport- $7,007,500
- Minot International Airport – $980,000
- Ellendale Airport – $600,000
- Linton Municipal Airport – $528,093
- Kenmare Municipal Airport – $459,786
- Gwinner Municipal Airport – $448,000
- Mercer County Regional Airport – $300,000
- Standing Rock Airport – $300,000
- Barnes County Municipal Airport – $203,000
- International Peace Garden Airport – $185,000
- Watford City Airport – $72,000
- Wahpeton Airport – $35,000
“These grants will help improve our airports, and ensure they are safe and efficient for travelers now and into the future,” said Hoeven.
