The North Dakota Highway Patrol’s Superintendent Colonel Solberg announces the promotion of Lieutenant Adam Dvorak to the rank of Captain. A native of Grand Forks, Dvorak graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He began his career with the NDHP in 2002. After graduating from the Law Enforcement Training Academy, Dvorak served as a trooper in Finley, followed by Grafton and Grand Forks. Dvorak was promoted to Sergeant in 2013 and served as a regional sergeant in Williston, Fargo, and Grand Forks. In April 2019, Dvorak was promoted to Lieutenant and served as the Deputy Chief of Operations at headquarters. Lt. Dvorak graduated from the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command in July 2022. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in March 2023 and now serves as the Support Services Division Commander remaining at headquarters. Colonel Solberg presented Dvorak with a promotional certificate at a ceremony in Bismarck on April 21.
