The Spay-ghetti And No Balls supper held at the Elks Club in Jamestown, the Elks presented the James River Humane Society a Check for $3,000 dollars.

The James River Humane Society was established in 1985, as a non-profit, no kill shelter. It is set up to care for homeless dogs and cats. It is the policy of the shelter to provide humane care and treatment for
animals needing protection in the area served by the shelter, to seek suitable homes for
animals without owners and to alleviate animal suffering.
