BISMARCK, N.D. – Black Hills Trucking notified state agencies that a 150-barrel (6,300-gallon) crude oil spill occurred due to a hauler truck accident on July 3. The incident occurred about 10 miles northwest of Ray in Williams County. The oil release was contained to a road ditch.

Personnel from the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality will oversee the cleanup and remediation.
