At 3:46pm on Friday afternoon, a washing machine was smoking at 1401 5th Ave SE. an apartment building. Jamestown Fire Department was called out and was able to clear the smoke. No fire was detected.

JFD was on scene for 15 minutes with 15 firefights and 5 units. No injured Fire Fighters on scene.
