(KFGO/KNFL) Winnipeg bashed fifteen hits in an 8-2 victory over the F-M RedHawks on Saturday evening at Shaw Park in Winnipeg.
Dayson Croes led the offense with three hits. Croes has an eight-game hitting streak and has hit in 17 of his last 18 games. Every batter in the Goldeyes lineup had at least one hit.
Chris Burgess added two doubles and two RBI, while Brynn Martinez also chipped in two hits and two RBI for Winnipeg.
Scott Schreiber smacked a two-run homer in the eighth inning for Fargo-Moorhead’s lone runs of the game.
Tyler Grauer (5-3) allowed ten hits and five runs to take the loss for the RedHawks. Landon Bourassa went eight strong innings to earn his second win over F-M this season.
The RedHawks have lost three straight and eight of their last ten games. The final game of the three-game series is Sunday afternoon. First pitch at 1:00 PM.
