KFGO – The long, magical run for the Fargo Little Leaguers came to a close on Sunday. Henderson, Nevada defeated the Midwest Region champs with a 7-1 victory at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

Nevada scored twice in the bottom of the first inning for a 2-0 lead. Fargo answered in the second inning on an RBI single by Colin Hanson to make it 2-1. Fargo had a chance to tie it after another base hit in the second but had a runner thrown out at the plate to end the inning.

Nolan Gifford homered for Nevada in the bottom of the fourth for a 3-1 lead, then added another run in the fourth inning and three more in the fifth inning to put the game out of reach.

Blaise Ostrom, William Korbl, and Evan Eckman also had hits for Fargo.
