Jamestown – Fire broke out in the kitchen of 709 7th St. NW. The Jamestown Fire Department was notified at 6:31pm September 14, of the fire. When units arrived the kitchen and other rooms were involved.

The fire was put out by JFD and the house checked for “Hot Spots”. Due to the damage, the Red Cross was contacted to assist the homeowner while they are displaced.

Jamestown Fire Department was on scene for 90 minutes. 5 fire trucks, 17 fire fighters, with 1 fireman reporting an injury.
