Enjoy the beautiful fall weather and go for a stroll to check out the Downtown Scarecrow Festival entries!!

Scarecrows must be displayed by Friday 22nd and remain on display until September 29th.

Businesses/ organizations throughout Jamestown have entered and we are so excited to see their creations!

All entries will be judged by a volunteer judge panel. Ribbons will be awarded to the winner after September 22nd.

Scarecrow entries will be judged in three categories:
MOST ORIGINAL
BEST SHOW OF COMMUNITY PRIDE
MOST LIKELY TO SCARE A CROW

Here are some of the rules they had to follow to qualify!
🍂 Scarecrows must be hand made and include hay/straw as it’s base/core.
🍂 Scarecrow must be at least 3ft tall but no more than 7ft.
🍂 Scarecrows should be whimsical, humorous, mischievous or loveable – NOT frightening.
