Melissa Powers is offering Dog Obedience class. Once again, its that time of year. Dog obedience class is scheduled to start Wed, Oct 11th at 6:00pm in Jamestown, ND at the James Valley Career and Tech Center.

They will cover the basics…loose leash walk, heel, sit, down, stay, and come. Class will be every Wed night from 6:00-7:00pm. The Cost is $100 for the 8 week class.

Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old. There is no upper age limit. Proof of vaccinations will be required the first night. Rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella are all required to be current to participate in class. You will need to bring a flat collar or harness and flat 5-6ft leash. No choke/pinch collars, no e-collars, no retractable leashes, and no chain leashes. They teach vocal control with positive reinforcement. Class size is limited. They do NOT train personal dogs for service dogs.
