The Valley City – Barnes County Development Corporation offers many resources including an extensive list of recruiting efforts. From job postings and candidate searches to workforce training programs and representation at job fairs, there are a wide variety of free resources available to Barnes County businesses. As important as these traditional means of recruiting are, it’s equally important to keep up with the ever-changing trends of what job seekers deem relevant on their career hunt.  

Community promotion has become an essential part of workforce recruiting. If we are working to recruit new members to our community to fill our open positions, they are going to need to know a wide array of community aspects before committing to that decision; thus, the Valley City Good Life was created. Join Retention & Recruiting Coordinator, Kara Anderson, as she goes over recruiting resources available and how you can utilize the Valley City Good Life campaign in your recruiting efforts.
