On October 6th at 3:58pm a Chrysler 300 was traveling eastbound on Memorial Highway in Mandan when it veered into westbound traffic. Chrysler 300 struck the Dodge Ram head on which had been traveling in the right lane westbound. Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway blocking both westbound lanes. Driver of Chrysler 300, Jesse Taylor, was transported to Sanford Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Driver of Dodge Ram, Tamara Giese, was transported to St. Alexius for serious injuries. Crash remains under investigation. Names will be released on 10/7/2023. Traffic was backed up for a couple hours until scene could be cleared.
