Jamestown (CS) Jamestown kicked off the 2023 Christmas season celebration with the Downtown Dazzle Parade Friday Evening November 24, 2023, presented by the Jamestown Downtown Association.

The parade featured businesses, service clubs, law enforcement, and first responders.

Winning Floats:

Best Dazzle:

For the Monna float was The Girl Scouts.

Most Original Theme:

For creative/original theme, was Candyland by Alpha Opportunities.

Most Outstanding Amateur Built:

For use of man-made materials, lighting, and unique use of holiday theme was Hondo’s Hideaway.

Most Outstanding Civic or Non-profit:

For most energetic participants, was the James River Humane Society

Jamestown Downtown Association President Lynn Lambrecht says this was the best parade yet for community participation and the weather cooperating.
