JPD – The Jamestown Police Department wants to notify Jamestown residents regarding a new high risk sex offender who is residing within the city of Jamestown.

26 years of age, Tristen Errol Mitchell Gooden, 612 14th Ave SE , he has no vehicle.

Gooden is black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 207 pounds, and has green eyes and brown hair.

Mr. Gooden has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.

Offense: Corruption of a Minor – When Gooden was 20 years old, he digitally penetrated a 15-year-old female while he masturbated. This led to penile/vaginal intercourse where he covered her mouth and told her to be quiet because “bad things would happen” if someone heard her. The minor became pregnant due to this occurrence, which later resulted in a miscarriage.

Conviction Date:  09/06/2099 in Burleigh County District Court. 

Disposition: 360 days; 314 days credit; concurrent with 08-2019-CR-197 and 08-2019-CR-1468.

Offense: Gross Sexual Imposition – <15 yrs — Gooden met a 14-year-old female through a social media account. Gooden met up with the minor victim and they engaged in sexual intercourse.

Conviction Date: 09/06/2019 in Burleigh County District Court.

Disposition: 15 years; first serve 6 years; balance suspended; 314 days credit; 5 years supervised probation; concurrent with 08-2019-CR-1468 and 08-2019-CR-678.

Offense: Corruption of Minor – When Gooden was between the ages of 20-21, he had sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female

Conviction Date: 09-06-2019 in Burleigh County District Court.

Disposition: 360 days; 314 days credit; concurrent with 08-19-CR-197 and 08-2019-CR-678

Gooden is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This
notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this
information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. Attempts to harass, intimidate or
threaten these offenders or their families, landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
