Will Cordes started up the game with a first possession two-pointer, and Cole Woodford followed with two triples to put the Jimmies up 8-0.
The Tigers got two points on the board, but Christian Lietz followed with one outside the arc to force a Tiger timeout three minutes into play.
Out of the timeout, the Tigers chipped away to trail only four (11-15). The Jimmies responded with a 9-2 run to lead by double figures (13-24) halfway into the half.
The Jimmies only lengthened their lead after that outscoring the Tigers 26-21 to end the half leading by 16 points.
Five minutes into the second half the Tigers cut the Jimmies lead down to nine points. The Jimmies responded with eight straight points with help from Antonio Chandler, Colby Vazquez, and Cordes to keep them out of the Tigers reach.
With 2:55 left to play, the Jimmies led 89-63 and began to send in their reserves. The men won their last home game of the season, extending their win streak to five.
FOR THE JIMMIES
- Will Cordes had 19 points.
- Cole Woodford followed with 16. He shot 50% from the three-point line, scoring four triples for the Jimmies.
- Colby Vazquez (15), Christian Lietz (11), Silas Bennion (10), and Antonio Chandler (10) also scored in double figures.
- Lietz grabbed eight rebounds, passed out three assists, and blocked two shots.
- Llinas also had two blocks.
- Bennion grabbed eight rebounds and added three steals.
- The Jimmies outrebounded the Tigers 46-33.
FOR THE TIGERS
- Jakob Dobney had 16 points.
- Randy Rosenquist Jr. had seven rebounds.
