Twins – The Twins are acquiring outfielder Manuel Margot from the Dodgers, a source told MLB.com’s Juan Toribio on Monday. MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reported the Dodgers will receive infield prospect Noah Miller in return. The teams have not announced the trade.

Margot, 29, came to Los Angeles alongside right-hander Tyler Glasnow in an offseason trade with Tampa Bay. He owns a .255/.309/.385 slash line with 52 homers, 91 steals and 283 RBIs in eight MLB seasons with the Padres and Rays.

Margot’s two-year, $19 million deal expires at the end of the season, but there is a team option for 2025 worth $12 million.

Miller, the No. 36 overall pick in the 2021 Draft, was ranked No. 23 on MLB Pipeline’s latest ranking of Minnesota’s top 30 prospects. He is the younger brother of Brewers utility man Owen Miller. He owns a .644 OPS with 12 homers and 36 steals in 250 Minor League games, topping out at High-A last year.
