Jamestown – Fire Call #1, on Wednesday April 10 8:44am, a report of smoke in a house was reported at 1605 17th Avenue SW.
Jamestown Fire Department was dispatched to the residence and found a sump pump had over-heated in the basement. The sump pump was removed and placed outside.
JFD was on scene for 15 minutes, with 17 Firefighters & 5 fire trucks responded. No injuries reported.
Fire Call #2 at 12:40pm to 320 1st Ave S, Salvation Army. Employee reported their Refrigerator was sparking. Jamestown Fire Department on scene for 17 minutes. 21 Fire Fighter and 5 fire truck on location. Ladder truck on stand by.
