On April 14 at 11:51pm a Silverado was traveling northbound on Interstate 29 near mile marker 56, a travel trailer camper was stopped on the right shoulder of the northbound lanes due to mechanical issues. The Silverado drifted onto the shoulder, striking the parked travel trailer.

The Silverado came to rest in the east ditch. The travel trailer came to rest on the east
shoulder with debris across both lanes of the interstate. Traffic was slowed for approximately
one hour while crews worked to clear debris and vehicles from the scene. The driver was
charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a Class B Misdemeanor.
