On April 13, at approximately 10:47 p.m., a 2008 Ford Fusion driven by Keira Weber 18 years old, was traveling eastbound on County Road 38 southwest of Jamestown.

The Fusion lost control on the gravel road, ran off the roadway to the right, and entered the south ditch. Upon entering the south ditch, the Fusion overturned, coming to rest on its roof. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, but was not ejected. The driver was transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center and then Sanford Hospital in Fargo due to serious injuries sustained in the crash. The driver an 18 years old Jamestown woman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a Class B misdemeanor. She was also issued a citation for having an open alcohol container in the vehicle.
