NDHP – The 2009 Honda dirt bike was traveling westbound on a dirt trail at the Desert
south of Bismarck. The 2024 KTM Dirt Bike was traveling eastbound on same dirt trail. The dirt
bikes struck each other head on. Both drivers were thrown from their bikes. Driver of Honda,
Isaiah Frederick, was transported to CHI St. Alexius hospital where he died from his injuries.
Driver of KTM was transported to Sanford Hospital with serious injuries. Both were wearing
helmets. Crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
