Jamestown – Street Sweeping Downtown; Tonight, June 6, 2024, City crews will be street sweeping in the downtown business district. This will take place approximately at 10:00 PM until finished. All vehicles should be removed from the downtown streets and avenues during these times. The above schedule is contingent upon changing weather conditions and wind speeds.

Mosquito Spraying Schedule:
• Tomorrow, June 7, 2024; City crews will be mosquito fogging the Southeast (SE)
and Northwest (NW) areas of the city.
• Saturday, June 8, 2024, Crews will be mosquito fogging the Northeast (NE) area
of the city.
• Monday, June 10, 2024, Crews will be mosquito fogging the Southwest (SW)
area of the city.
Fogging will begin at approximately 9:00 P.M. each night and continue until finished.
It is advised to keep children and pets off the streets and away from the fogging
machines during these times. Motorists should use caution in these areas.

Flushing Fire Hydrants in NE, SE & SW – City crews will be flushing fire hydrants in the Northeast (NE), Southeast (SE) & Southwest (SW) areas of the city. This will continue through the next two weeks until finished. This will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The possibility of lowered water pressure may occur in these areas during these times.
