A 2019 Kenworth Semi driven by Iurie Midari was driving east on Highway 2 near mile marker 148. A 2019 Chevrolet Cruze was driving east on Highway 2 near mile marker The Chevrolet Cruze struck the rear end of the trailer being pulled by the Kenworth Semi.

The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze, a 48 year old male from Minot, ND was not wearing a
seatbelt and was seriously injured in the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot. The driver of the Kenworth semi was not injured. The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
