Nancy Bader was born February 6, 1965, in Medina, ND, the daughter of William and Judith (Link) Bader.
She attended Medina Public School from kindergarten to the 8th grade, and then attended Jamestown High School from 9th grade to senior graduate in 1983. Nancy studied computer science and IT at Minnesota State University, Moorhead, MN, St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN, Jamestown College, Jamestown, and Bismarck State College, Bismarck, ND earning an Associate’s degree. She worked for Central Business Systems in Jamestown when she was in high school until this spring. Nancy was also active with developing an internet presence for Jerry’s Furniture.
Nancy enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Jamestown where she lived with her longtime partner, Jeff Carlson. She was an avid runner, enjoyed downhill skiing and cross country skiing, scuba diving, and traveling.
Nancy was a strong advocate for scleroderma research. She was passionate about being a support for those with scleroderma as well as educating others about the disease. She shared her advocacy and support through her scleroderma website www.sclerodermajourney.com
Nancy is survived by her longtime partner, Jeff Carlson; parents, Bill and Judie Bader, Jamestown, ND; sister, Becky (Tim) Eissinger, Fargo ND; brother, David (Paula) Bader, West Fargo ND; nieces, Brittany Eissinger, Fargo ND, Lexi Eissinger, Horace ND; nephews, Billy (Marissa) Bader, Fargo, ND, Wyatt (Beth) Bader, Blaine MN, Westin (Lexi) Adilis (Bader), Fargo, ND; great nephew, Bruce (Billy and Marissa) Bader; great niece, Teddi (Wyatt and Beth) Bader; and close friends, Deb Luiken and Brenda Richie.
