On July 4th, 2024 a two vehicle fatal crash occurred at the intersection of 25th St S and 13th Ave
S in Fargo.

A 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle being operated by a 47 YOA male was eastbound on 13th
Ave and entered the intersection with 25th St S on a red light.

A Mazda 3 was traveling southbound on 25th St S on a green light and was struck by the
Harley Davidson in the front right corner of the Mazda.

Both occupants on the Harley Davidson were thrown from the motorcycle. The driver, a 47
YOA male, was pronounced dead on scene. The 19 YOA female passenger was transported to
Sanford Hospital in Fargo with life threatening injuries. Neither were wearing a helmet.

The occupants of the Mazda were both transported by Sanford Ambulance to Essentia
Hospital in Fargo for non-life threatening injuries.

On July 4th, 2024 a two vehicle fatal crash occurred at the intersection of 25th St S and 13th Ave
S in Fargo.
A 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle being operated by Short was eastbound on 13th Ave and
entered the intersection with 25th St S on a red light

The names of the involved parties will be released later in day on July 5th or earlier in the day
on July 6th.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
