A Kenworth cement truck was traveling eastbound on Interstate 94 just west of the Sheyenne Street interchange. The truck drove over a soft asphalt patch which
caused the vehicle to lose control and overturn. The vehicle rolled onto its side blocking the left lane of the interstate and debris spread into both travel lanes. The driver was evaluated on scene by Sanford Ambulance and was not transported. He was wearing his seat belt and only sustained minor injuries. Traffic was slowed and down to one lane for approximately two hours while ND DOT and the tow company cleared the scene and recovered the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
