David “Dave” Brendmoen, 70, Bullhead City, AZ, formerly, Valley City, ND, passed away May 22, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV.  There will be a graveside service at Woodbine Cemetery, Valley City, on Tuesday, July 23 at 11 am.

David Orville Brendmoen was born in Valley City on April 22, 1954, to Orville and Mildred (Andersen) Brendmoen.  He grew up and attended school in Valley City.  After graduating from high school, he attended UND majoring in journalism.  Dave was a newspaper editor and later a publicist for Boyd Gaming, Las Vegas, NV.  He also edited film for online stock videos.

Dave is leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories.  He is survived by his daughter, Launa (TJ) Van Horn; sons, Joe and Jon (Harlie); grandchildren, Audrey and Oliver Van Horn and Jordan Brendmoen.  He also leaves one sister, Brenda Stearns.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lynette; and brothers, John, Larry and Lonnie.
