Valley City, ND – Riverfest, the Valley’s largest water festival! Launch from the Fish Hatchery with about 200 other water craft and take a float down the beautiful Sheyenne River.

End your float at Chautauqua Park where there will be food, games, and even a craft and vendor show (with over 25 businesses registered already!).

There will also be a raffle drawing to win prizes like kayaks, a grill, 3 piece patio set, gift cards, and more!

𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 July 29th, 2024 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘍𝘙𝘌𝘌 𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵!

This event helps develop the Sheyenne River Water Trail which is in the process of becoming the state’s only nationally recognized water trail! The goal is to increase signage along the river, create landings with bathrooms, camping, etc., and install accessible docking systems for all ages and skill levels to enjoy the river!

Single Registration: $20
Household Registration: $50 (Max 6 individuals, Max 2 adults)

A shuttle will run from 8:30 – 9:50 with parking at Chautauqua Park. Please drop off your kayak at the National Fish Hatchery, park at Chautauqua Park, and ride the shuttle back to the launch point. Your vehicle will then be at the end of the float.
