On July 20 at 4:03pm Ricky Howatt; 63; of Cooperstown was riding a 2000 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic Motorcycle was traveling northbound on ND Highway 1 and for unknown reasons lost control and overturned his motorcycle. Howatt was thrown from the motorcycle as a result and sustained serious injuries. Howatt was transported by ambulance to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks for injuries sustained in the crash. The name of the individual involved will be released at a later date and time.
