NDHP-On July 21, at approximately 1:28 PM, a small single engine aircraft experienced problems with the landing gear upon landing at the Williston Basin Airport. The pilot, Douglas Hilderman, and passenger, Charlyn Hilderman flew into Williston from Regina, SK. Both Douglas and Charlyn exited the aircraft and were evaluated by Williston Ambulance staff. Charlyn sustained minor injuries. The primary runway was reopened at approximately 2:30 PM CT. The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williston Police Department, and Williston Fire/EMS responded to the scene. The FAA and NTSB were notified and are investigating the incident.
