NDHP – The 2001 Honda Shadow was eastbound on 45th St N from Velva, ND, when the vehicle collided with a deer on the roadway. The driver, Davis Franklin, Male, 58, of Karlsruhe, ND, was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased on scene. The time of the crash is uncertain but happened between the evening hours on 07/25 or the early morning hours on 07/26. The name will be released following next of kin notifications.

This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
