JPD – The Jamestown Police Department wants to notify Jamestown residents regarding a new high risk sex offender who is residing within the city of Jamestown.

54 years of age, Robert Scott Venker, lives at 403 1 Ave NE #13. Venker has a 2015 light green Kia Soul.

Venker is white, 5 feet 08 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds, and has brown eyes and gray hair.

Mr. Venker has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.

Offense: Gross Sexual Imposition – 2 counts

Conviction Date:  05/06/2016 in Williams County District Court. 

Disposition:  20 years; 8 years suspended; 712 days credit; 5 years supervised probation; concurrent.

Offense: Indecent Exposure

Conviction Date: 05/06/2016 in Williams County District Court.

Disposition: 1 year; 1 year credit; concurrent

Offense: Felonious Restraint

Conviction Date: 05/06/2016 in Williams County District Court

Disposition: 5 years; 712 days credit; concurrent

Offense: 3rd Degree Sex Offense

Conviction Date: 01/24/1995 in Baltimore, MD

Disposition: 3 years; serve 33 days; 18 months supervised probation

Venker is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this
information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. Attempts to harass, intimidate or
threaten these offenders or their families, landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
