A Ford Escape driven by Hadley Hjelden was northbound on 16th St NW and struck Todd Mathistad, a pedestrian who was crossing from west to east on 16th St NW in the intersection of Wildwood Ave. Mathistad was transported to Trinity Health in Minot with serious life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
