On August 19th, 2024 at approximately 6:44 pm, a two vehicle injury crash occurred southbound on I-29 near MM 96, about four miles north of Grandin.
A 2013 Suzuki motorcycle driven by Jayme Frank, 51, of Fargo was southbound on I-29 in lane two. Steel Erickson, 18, of Rosholt, SD was driving the Hyundai behind Frank in lane two when Erickson became distracted in his vehicle. Erickson took his attention away from the road and rear-ended Frank.

Frank was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo by Sanford Ambulance for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
