NDHP – The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports of three separate fatal crashes that occurred yesterday, 7 September.

A 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on Highway 1804 near mile marker 341 when it ran off the road and entered the north ditch. Both occupants were transported to CHI St. Alexius in Williston. The male was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The female suffered serious injuries. Confirmation of the driver and passenger is under investigation.

A 2006 Harley Davidson Motorcycle was driven by William Foondle, 66, and there was a female passenger. The Harley was eastbound on County Road 26, approximately 2 miles east of Grano, when it failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the road. Foondle suffered serious injuries and was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot. The female was pronounced deceased on scene.

On 7 September 2024 at approximately 10:53 PM CST, a 1991 Kenworth Straight Truck was eastbound on 69th St. NW and there was a cow in the road. The truck braked and swerved to the left. The truck struck the cow, ran off the road to the north and rolled. The driver was pronounced deceased on scene. The owner of the livestock was identified as Michael Skor.

The crashes remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
