Karly Just finishes top 10 at MSUM Twilight Invite

MOORHEAD, MN – The Valley City State men’s and women’s cross-country team competed in the MSUM Twilight Invite held at Nemzek Hall.
 
Karly Just led the Viking women in the 5k with a time of 18:11 and a 10^th place finish. Jasmine Barnes placed 19^th with a time of 19:29 in the 85-runner field. The Viking women did not record a team score on the night.
 
In the men’s 6k Rigo Garcia, Tate Minnihan, Zach Baumgartner started their seasons with 53^rd, 57^th, and 58^th place finishes. This helped the VCSU men’s team to a 7^th place finish at the meet.
