NDHP – On September 17th, 2024, at approximately 9:49 pm a two-vehicle injury crash occurred in Fargo in the 600 block of 36th St N.
The 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Trent Hickey, was northbound on 36th St N and crossed into the southbound lane. After crossing into the southbound lane, the Harley Davidson struck a southbound GMC Sierra driven by Justin Skramstad, in a head-on crash. The GMC had been traveling southbound on 36th St N and was struck in the drivers side front by the Harley Davidson.
The collision caused Hickey of Fargo, to be thrown from the motorcycle and he came to rest in the southbound roadway. The Harley Davidson came to rest in the southbound roadway on its side and the GMC came to a stop in the southbound roadway, upright.
Justin Skramstad of West Fargo was uninjured. Hickey was transported by Sanford Ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for serious, life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
